As a professional writer, I have helped give voice to the stories of refugees, victims of sex trafficking, and families in extreme poverty. I have written from bars, brothels, slums, and villages in Thailand and Cambodia.

Words are my medium: they create miracles and move hearts. I have witnessed it. But I have also walked the path of struggling to speak my truth. I have spent a lifetime summoning the courage to be authentic with my voice.

Now, I hold space for others to do the same — to write the stories they’ve never told, to speak what shame once silenced, and to come home to themselves through truth and tenderness.

The creative life is my wellspring, full of beauty and small moments of noticing.

My debut memoir, Darling Humans, will be published in January 2026.
